My intention as a Massage Therapist is to bring relaxation, restore energy, relieve pain and support the body’s natural healing process. I focus on the spiritual aspects of massage allowing my intuition to guide me through each session. I create a sacred healing space where the body and spirit can communicate what it needs. I am trained in several modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Esalen, Lymphatic, Thai Massage, Prenatal, Oncology Massage, Cranial Sacral and Reiki. Each session is tailored to the client’s specific needs. I pull from each of these modalities to create a unique healing experience. I may combine relaxation, deep tissue, stretching and energy work all within one session. My technique includes using long flowing deep strokes, deep enough to allow healing but gentle enough to allow the client to remain relaxed. Massage therapy brings relaxation, restores energy, relieves pain and supports the body's natural healing process.

Customized Therapeutic Massage: This massage is customized to your specific needs. We can include Swedish Massage techniques for relaxation or deep tissue work and stretching to help alleviate specific problems or pains. We can also include energy work into your massage for the complete mind, body and spirit healing. Each session is customized for you.

Prenatal Massage: Pregnancy is a very special time. Extra care is taken with moms to be to provide a comfortable position. Once fully supported, we can begin to relieve muscle tension, fatigue, swelling and any other concerns. While totally relaxed, we can start to shift any lingering emotions related to pregnancy, birth and caring for a newborn. Tending to these concerns and physical discomforts will allow for a more enjoyable pregnancy, ease labor and delivery and improve postnatal recovery.

Lymphatic Massage: This is a gentle massage that stimulates the lymphatic system. The function of the lymphatic system is to carry waste, toxins, unwanted materials and excess water from the body. Through Lymphatic Massage, we can help stimulate the body’s natural cleaning system, promoting a healthier immune system and a healthier state of being.

Reiki Massage: There is a physical, emotional and spiritual balance within our bodies. When one of these areas is under stress, it can create physical symptoms within us. Reiki Massage is a full body massage which focuses on loving healing energy flowing through you. This healing energy restores harmony and balance within our bodies. We will create a space where you can relax, let go, breathe and heal.

Cranial Sacral Therapy: This is a gentle therapy using a specific method of touch and intention and begins by focusing on the bodies central nervous system. Our central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) has a great influence over the body’s ability to function properly. Stress and lingering emotions cause tension and restrictions within this system. These restrictions can create an emotional, spiritual and physical imbalance resulting in pain and other dysfunctions. Through this therapy, we will focus on expanding and releasing any restrictions within the central nervous system and throughout our physical and energetic bodies. Cranial Sacral Therapy allows healing on a physical, emotional and soul level and restores balance and harmony to all of our systems. Cranial Sacral is not a massage but can be added into any massage service.

Sara Musial, Massage Therapist

Massage and therapeutic bodywork is for everyone! Need an evening or weekend appointment? Sara is here for you. She is a clinically trained licensed massage therapist with a background in mental health counseling. She has over 9 years massage experience with the last 3 years spent studying and practicing energy work. If you are wanting to increase general well-being, decrease stress, heal from chronic pain, illness or emotional suffering schedule a session with Sara. She will use intuition to offer a nurturing session designed especially for you and use intention to create a safe space for you to let go.

Cranial Sacral Therapy: There is an energetic vibrational field within and around our bodies.  By using intention and connecting to our higher self, we can raise this vibration and restore balance and harmony to our energy system.  Through this therapy, we will also focus on expanding and releasing any restrictions we are holding in our bodies.  This is not a Massage. This is a gentle therapy using touch, connection and intention.  During the session, most clients feel an overall sense of relaxation and quieting of the mind. Cranial Sacral Therapy allows healing on a physical, emotional and soul level.

Hot Stone Massage: During this deeply relaxing treatment, Sara will use naturally healing heated basalt stones. These stones will be placed on the body and used an as extension of her hands to deliver traditional therapeutic massage techniques. The heat softens muscle tissue providing access to deeper work with less pressure. Great for relieving: muscle tension, chronic pain, insomnia, stress and more!

Aromatherapy is defined as the art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote the health of body, mind and spirit. On a deeper level, essential oils are the "spirits" of plants, trees, flowers, seeds and resins. Essential oils are the original "medicine" of our ancestors and they heal on emotional, spiritual, mental and physical levels.  Monica connects with the spirits of the essential oils and intuitively uses them to heal others. As a certified Aromatherapist, Monica is able to create custom oil blends for her clients that promote well-being within the delicate balance of body, mind and spirit. Jade Stone Reflexology

I wanted to share the wonderful healing powers of green Jade. Jade is known to transfer your negative energy into positive energy. It's a wonderful healing stone. The Jade stone I use has been crafted into a reflexology tool I use to press and massage specific healing points on the feet. Based on traditional Chinese medicine, the energy of chi flows remarkably well through the Jade stone.

Service includes complementary flower essence infused water, so you can sip while you soak your feet at the beginning of your session. Fields of Flowers formula, a homeopathic formula, is a unique combination of the 38 traditional flower essences with each one long associated with a key element of emotional concern.

Chi Machine- Lymphatic Detox

In just 15 minutes, the Chi Machine gives the body the equivalent of 1 1/2 hours of walking. The movement relaxes the nerves and muscles, improves energy flow, as well as relieving tension in the back, neck and shoulders. It is used to improve circulation of blood flow and the lymphatic system.

Carrie Pokorney, Reiki Master, Yoga Facilitator

Carrie is an Usui Reiki Master and Karuna Practitioner and is currently studying herbalism to assist her family and clients. She is also a yoga teacher and specializes in prenatal and postpartum yoga. She loves to empower & support others through a variety of healing modalities. Her sessions and classes guide clients toward building a strong sense of self rooted in compassion and self-love.

Energy work has been a constant companion through each shift, journey, and lesson Carrie has been through. From the darkest times of the postpartum season, to assisting her after therapy, while using Western medicines, through anxiety attacks, and holding her while lost in deep fear, energy work has brought her light and Divine support. Carrie believes energy work cleanses the field within us that feels heavy and guides us towards our true light. Elemental Energy Flow Healing Session: Immerse your energetic body in nature through this individual 60 minute elemental energy flow healing session. Carrie uses the five elements to heal, move, and cleanse any "stuck" energies you may have leading to clarity and lightness. There will be 3-4 restorative yoga postures and mudras to assist in grounding the physical body and, when needed, crystals, aromatherapy, and herbalism to bring balance to the earth element. Working with the element of air, Carrie uses guided meditation to anchor wandering thoughts and sound healing to slow down overactive brain waves. Yoga & Reiki Group Classes: Carrie combines a gentle, introspective practice with energy healing to create space in body, mind, and soul. Reiki is a Japanese hands-on healing modality that transmits through a practitioner's hands to the receiver. Slow yoga and Reiki both promote relaxation, stress relief, and create balance within the body. We will begin with gentle stretches, twists, and movements followed by 30 minutes of restorative postures and generous doses of Reiki. Come as you are (with extra comfortable clothes). Leave lighter, balanced, and restored. In this month's class, Carrie will include restorative yoga, aromatherapy, and journaling.
